چکیده
Background: Uncertainty exists about the impact of placental vit D metabolism on mother's blood levels in people. Objective: Awareness and how it affects amount metabolites was one goals this investigation. Methods: To take part a 14-week controlled feeding experiment, 27 third-trimester singleton pregnant women good health from Hayatabad Medical Complex during Jan 2022 to April 2022. Female trophoblasts vitro were further treated using Vitamin D3-13C investigate synthesis intermediates. Results: In maternal tissue, there substantial connection between 24,25-Dihydroxycholecalciferol 25-hydroxyvitamin D. These also closely connected corresponding compounds found circulation. 3-epi-25-Hydroxyvitamin D3 low density lipoprotein-related protein 2 with D; CYP2R1 D3; Cubilin (CUBN) CYP27B1 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin CYP24A1 D, all showed positive relationships. Conclusion: Strong relationships circulating pregnancy number markers suggest hypothesis that profile is altered by placenta. Keywords: (24,25(OH)2D3), (25(OH)D3), (epi-25(OH)D3), CYP2R1,

Circulating vitamin D metabolites, polymorphism in vitamin D receptor, and colorectal adenoma risk.
OBJECTIVE Vitamin D is a potential agent for the prevention of colorectal cancer possibly through mechanisms mediated by the vitamin D receptor (VDR). We investigated the association of circulating vitamin D metabolites and a genetic variant of the VDR gene with advanced colorectal adenoma, a precursor lesion of colorectal cancer. METHODS Cases with advanced adenoma of the distal large bowel ...
متن کاملDetermination of vitamin D and its metabolites.
The demand for analysis of 25-hydroxyvitamin D has increased dramatically throughout the world over the past decade. As a consequence, a number of new automated assays have been introduced for 25-hydroxyvitamin D measurement. Automated assays have shown variable ability to meet the technical challenges associated with 25-hydroxyvitamin D measurement. Assays are able to meet performance goals fo...
متن کاملVitamin D2 is as effective as vitamin D3 in maintaining circulating concentrations of 25-hydroxyvitamin D.
CONTEXT Two reports suggested that vitamin D2 is less effective than vitamin D3 in maintaining vitamin D status. OBJECTIVE Our objective was to determine whether vitamin D2 was less effective than vitamin D3 in maintaining serum 25-hydroxyvitamin D levels or increased the catabolism of 25-hydroxyvitamin D3. SUBJECTS AND DESIGN This was a randomized, placebo-controlled, double-blinded study ...
متن کاملVitamin D as a defensin.
Defensin is a generic name reserved for an endogenously synthesized antimicrobial agent. The purpose of this summary is to describe a series of discoveries that led to the notion that 25-hydroxylated metabolites of vitamin D are naturally occurring, potent mediators of the human innate immune response to bacterial antigens. As such, the following discussion will: 1) highlight the basic elements...
متن کاملVitamin D metabolism and its clinical application.
included the unravelling of the major steps in its metabolism and a sounder understanding of the actions of vitamin D at a variety of target organs. We are now in a position where this new knowledge can be applied to understanding the basis of many clinical disorders and to improving the management ofsome ofthese. In addition, an appreciation ofthe metabolism and actions of vitamin D allows the...
